Supporters Assist in Producing 2020 Holiday Folk Fair International

MILWAUKEE, WI – In addition to the production and coordination services of the International Institute of Wisconsin (IIW), businesses and individuals are playing meaningful roles in supporting the 2020 Holiday Folk Fair International, which will be presented online at www.FolkFair.org starting Fri., Nov. 20.

Assisting the IIW in event production and presentation are the following:

“The financial and in-kind support being offered by these groups and individuals are allowing America’s premiere multi-cultural festival to continue its tradition for the 77th consecutive year,” said Alexander P. Durtka, Jr., IIW President and CEO.  “As a result of their commitment to the online Holiday Folk Fair International, individuals throughout Wisconsin, across the country, and around the world will have an opportunity to commemorate their ethnicity through language, music, dance, arts, and crafts from wherever you are.”

The 2020 online Holiday Folk Fair International’s theme is “Celebrate the Culture of Plants – The Seeds of Heritage,” which will explore how plants are used by groups from around the world to shape their heritage.

Visitors to www.FolkFair.org will have the opportunity to view videos of dance/musical performances, cooking, dance, and artisan demonstrations, education presentations, participant interviews, and “Folk Fair Through the Years” presentations.
