Holiday Folk Fair Menus 2017

Holiday Folk FairThis year’s featured foods at Holiday Folk Fair International celebrate the traditions of welcome: from bread and salt to tea and treats.

ARAB

Falafel Sandwich, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Grilled Chicken Pita Sandwich, Chicken Curry with Rice, Dinner Combo (Chicken, Basmati Rice, Falafel, Hommus & Pita), Appetizer Combo (Falafel, Hommus, Grape Leaves, and Pita), Spinach & Feta Cheese Swirl, Rolled Grape Leaves, Fries, Mango Lassi, Lamanada “Rosewater Lemonade”, and Baklava.

BAVARIAN

Dinner: Schnitzel (Seasoned breaded pork loin) or Bratwurst Dinner (2 per dinner; choice of regular or smoked spicy brat): all dinners served with Knoedel (bread dumpling), Sauerkraut, and Rye Bread.  

Sandwiches: Schnitzel (seasoned breaded pork loin) on a bun with a pickle, Bratwurst on a bun with sauerkraut or pickle (choice of one regular or one smoked spicy brat), Knoedel (one bread dumpling) with gravy, and Sauerkraut (one serving).

CHINESE

Combo Platter (White or Fried Rice, Chicken or Garlic Green Bean, 1 Pot Sticker, 1 Egg Roll, and 1 Fortune Cookie) Sesame Chicken with Steamed Rice, Spicy Beef with White or Fried Rice, Pot Sticker (2 Pieces), Crab Rangoon (2 Pieces), Baozi (1 Piece), Teriyaki Chicken on a stick (2 Pieces), Egg Roll (1 Piece), Cookie (3 pieces), Sesame Ball (3 Pieces), Pearl Bubble Tea, and Hot Tea.

CZECH

Dinner: Veprova Pecene (Roast Pork with Dumpling, Gravy, Sweet Sour Cabbage, and Rye Bread) and Hovezi s Koprovou Omackou (Beef with Dill Gravy, Dumplings, and Carrots).

Sandwiches: Veprova Pecene (Roast Pork with Rye Bread) and Chlebieky (open face sandwich with pickle).

Side Order: Knedliky (2 Dumplings with Gravy), Combo (Dumplings with Cabbage), and Zeli (Sweet Sour Cabbage).
